Make Your Minecraft Character Out Of Paper

In this post I will be talking about an awesome website that allows you to create a 3D model of your very own Minecraft skin.

This is a simple, quick and easy project to do in any of your free time and doesn't require any special art supplies. You should already have all or most of these objects in your house but if for any reason you don't you should be able to get them in any good office supply shop.

If you would like to make one simply go to Minecraftpapercraft.com or click on the link.

The needed tools are displayed above.

These are a few of mine.

If you're interested in making some stands for them like i did you can get a piece of foam and cut it into the shape that you want. Once you're happy with the shape cover the base with tape or plastic of any color (I used black) and for the optional finishing touch you can type up a name tag and stick it on.

If you would prefer to place them on a block you can click on the link at the top of the page.Minecraft

Jar lid castle

This is my first blog post and it's about how to make a jar lid castle. I made it out of an olive jar lid, air dry clay and model acrylics. This is a very quick and easy project that you can whip up anytime with the right materials.

Step 1: Find a jar lid (make sure that its very clean)

Step 2: Buy some clay, it doesn't matter what type.

Step 3: Form a cylinder of clay about 1"wide and as tall as you want. mine was 1" but you can make yours as tall as you want.

Step 4: Get a knife (preferably a modelling knife) and carve out a winding pathway up to the top of the cylinder.

Step 5: Smooth the pathway with a q-tip/cotton bud until it's fur comes off.

Step 6: Construct a castle. Be creative.

Step 7: Make a ball of clay and then mush it into a flat circle and attach it to the top of the pathway

Step 8: Attach the castle to the circle and place it on the jar lid.

Step 9: Paint it.

And finally have a pancake.
